Project Life 2018: Week 47

This was a crazy week with my dad in the hospital but it ended well with him being home, safe, and able to heal. ♥ This has been one crazy year.

Project Life 2018: Week 46

I love taking pictures of the sun shining on the snow and ice. This week provided such an opportunity. Plus, we got our Christmas tree!

Project Life 2018: Week 45

Fall flew by but this week was a fun one!

Project Life 2018: Weeks 43 - 44

Photos were rather sparse for these two weeks but it worked out to get two weeks caught up in one layout.

Project Life 2018: Week 42

Fall seems to be flying by. Lots going on with not enough down time.

Project Life 2018: Week 41

This post has some of my favorite photos that I took this fall. I love the yellow leaves and the bits with the blue sky, clouds, and yellow leaves. It's such a pretty time of year!

Project Life 2018: Week 40

Do you ever have those times when you're working on something (this layout), go and do something else (take a walk), and come back later to find that you forgot to save it and your computer decided it needed to restart? Just me? It all worked out in the end. :)

Project Life 2018: Week 39

We will be on Christmas vacation starting this week, so my plan is to get more caught up on 2018 scrapbooking. I'm really hoping to be caught up by the new year, but it might not happen. I'll at least work toward it!

Project Life 2018: Week 38

Have you ever been able to go cider mill hopping? That's what we did in some of these photos. What a fun time we had.

Project Life 2018: Week 37

It's that time of year where I need to start working on the yearly calendar that I make for our parents. I'm about nine weeks behind in Project Life. So between those two things, I have my hands full. I'm hoping to be up-to-date with Project Life by the start of 2019, but if I'm not, it'll be ok.

Project Life 2018: Week 36

There were lots of everyday life captures this week. ♥

Project Life 2018: Week 35

I've been trying to remember to take more photos in landscape in order to fill in the 4x6s the way I want. This week went quite well. Although the last couple of weeks in real time, I haven't been taking as many pictures period. It seems to ebb and flow - that picture taking rhythm.

The days of summer are winding down and we've been trying to make the most of them.

Project Life 2018: Week 33

This layout features my family working on picture boards for my grandma's funeral, an amazing photo find from my aunt from when I was a kid, two wonderful old photos of my grandpa, and terrific photo of my dad with long hair. I don't remember ever seeing four of these photos before. I love discovering new photo finds. ♥  I love being able to include them in my layouts. I'm always hoping to add to my "old photo" collection.

Project Life 2018: Week 32

Some stories for this week include sad stories again: the impending passing of my grandma. This year has really flown by. I'm often confused by the time of year we are in. February? July? OCTOBER?! Add a lot of fun, busy, sad things, and I'm exhausted. Thankfully life seems to have taken a chill pill and we are catching our breath. But as I've said before, it's our life and these stories are all part of it.

Project Life 2018: Week 31

In my scrapbooking, I want to take pretty pictures and real pictures. I want to tell good stories and hard/sad stories. Why? Because it's all a part of our lives. This week includes a sad story - the passing of my niece and what my sister had to endure. Seeing the pictures brings me to tears because it was - and still is - such a hard thing to go through. The emotions catch me off guard most times. I'm totally ok with them. Sometimes it's embarrassing. But I believe it's part of the healing process. What a precious baby. ♥
