Merry & Bright

I've been changing a lot of pictures to black and white lately. There seemed to be so many colors clashing and so much going on that changing them really helped. One of my favorite things about that, too, is that I can then use any color I want. This page doesn't have the traditional red and green Christmas colors BUT they are Christmas colors! I have some of my Grandma's tree ornaments and they are these colors. My Grandma also uses these colors for her Christmas cookie sprinkles (which I did this year too and will from now on). There is something about these colors that takes you back in time a little and I love that!

Snow Day

I had finished a page using this pictures and just before I was done, Photoshop had a problem and I was unable to save my page. So I started from scratch and totally changed everything. Who would have guessed?

Today was a struggle. Nothing was coming to me. In the end, here's what came of my few *hours*. Extremely simple yet focuses on what's important...my picture and my words.

Ty's Birthday

I can't begin to say how many times I've edited and completed changed these first two pages. It was hard narrowing pictures down and picking my favorites. Natasha was at Ty's birthday and took some really great shots!

I saw a page on Ali Edwards site and thought of using this picture for it. When I enlarged it, I still have 4 inches of space on the right. Since there is so much black at the edges, I was able to simply make the background black. I was so happy with how it turned out!
