Project Life 2017: Week 23

Isn't that sunset picture AMAZING?! 

It's not too often that I'm able have an enlarged photo in my spreads. This photo totally needed to be showcased. The colors were amazing! I'm not a fan of purple, but when it's in nature and the sky, that's a different story.

Project Life 2017: Week 22

Here start the gardening pictures! It's always fun to see where you start, the middle where the produce is so small, and when the garden is bursting at the seams. Gardening really is witnessing miracles. We just plant and water and God makes all the rest happen.

Project Life 2017: Week 21

This was a full and pretty week as you'll soon see. Granted, most of the pictures were taken on one day at a state park, but since this is the only way I scrapbook and since the pictures are so cool, why not make a two page spread? :)

Also, this so isn't "me", but I changed my templates to square edges instead of the rounded corners that I've done for years. Normally I would make a change like that at the beginning of a year and not half way through, but I wanted to make the change now. And I'm changing a little in the font department too. I'm thankful to be able to change things as the mood warrants.

Project Life 2017: Week 20

This week is full of photos - even photos on photos. Summer temps are in full swing in my neck of the woods, but I needed a light blanket in my basement as I worked on these pages. Those out in the 89 degree heat probably don't feel any pity for me. Can't say I blame them...

Project Life 2017: Week 19

Nine out of fourteen photos in the spread are from the same day. Mother's Day and being with family called for lots of photos. I try to pick my favorites so that I'm not using gobs of photos, but this week called for a little extra. And thankfully, I'm allowed to do that. Ha!

Project Life 2017: Week 18

A birthday in the family and pretty spring blooms calls for a two page spread for this week. The flowers on the trees don't last long enough. So pretty.

This week had a lot of pictures and journals to include, so I made it a two page spread - the first of 2017.

After a long stint with 2011 and time spent doing other things, I'm back with a couple of weeks of 2017. I've got just a little catching up to do with 2017 before I'm back with 2011. It's a fun journey!

Project Life 2011: Weeks 19-21

Here's another three week spread including a 25K and two new kitties. I'm so happy to be moving along with 2011 and to be using this method of scrapbooking. Do you have any idea how much time it's saving me?!

Project Life 2011: Weeks 16-18

I got this done last week or so and just needed to add a few finishing touches today. I was on such a roll and have had to miss a handful of days - I miss it!! It's such an outlet me for and a process I enjoy.

It's been so fun looking back through these photos. I've shared some with others who are in the photos. It's crazy to think it was six years ago.

Project Life 2011: Weeks 11-12

This week features Leah getting six stitches after she walked behind the glider on our swing set. She was a real trooper though.

Project Life 2011: Weeks 8-10

Two birthdays, first haircut, and lots of fun snow time in these three weeks.

One thing that I've been doing lately is customizing Ali Edward's brushes. I take a word from one set and combine it with a word from another to make a new combo. It allows for more variety.

I went with the same journal font that I'm using in 2017 - Century. I decided not to do a weekly brush for 2011. Instead I'm using Cooper Black for the week numbers.

Project Life 2011: Weeks 5-7

Three more weeks knocked out! And actually, it's really only two weeks since week 6 didn't have any pictures. While I'm sometimes bummed by it, it does help me get ahead that much faster, so I'm actually ok with it. Ha!

Project Life 2011: Cover Page + Weeks 1-4

Well would ya lookie here! I'm finally starting Project Life 2011! I'm really loving looking back at these pictures. It's true, when they are printed and in books, you're more likely to look at them. And in my case, I'm really the only one who uses the computer, so unless I'm on it and call someone over to see a picture, they don't get viewed. I'm slowly working on catching up and taking care of that problem. Yay!

Project Life 2017: Weeks 13-14

I'm now all caught up with 2017! I'm really amazed because of how I just started 2017 last month (March) and now here I am. If you've noticed, most of 2017 is pictures. While I'm so happy to have a week on one page, I am missing using papers and such.
