Cool, fall days (all the heart eyes ♥♥) are right around the corner, but for now, there are still summer spreads to get caught up on and a few more summer weeks to document.

Project Life 2016: Week 26
Week 26 marks the half way point of the year. I feel like summer has gone by fast. While I enjoy doing more things outside during summer, I am looking forward to the cooler days of fall. It's been one scorcher of a summer.

Project Life 2016: Week 25
I'm loving these summery layouts! And it's fun being able to complete two spreads today.
I believe I'll always love this project. This week, Titus was asking which scrapbook had the picture of the big bass that he caught. So that's cool that he enjoys referencing that and looking back. It's great!
Project Life 2016: Week 24
This week includes two spreads as we celebrated Leah's 9th birthday! This week also included my dad's birthday which also fell on Father's Day.
One thing I'm pretty bummed about: I accidentally deleted photos from my camera card before putting them on the computer. I can still see the picture in my head but I can't make it come to life. I took some pictures with my big camera the night of Leah's birthday. Most importantly, a family picture with both sets of grandparents. Somehow I thought I already put them on the computer and then proceeded to clear off my card. So use this example for yourself to always check and make sure you've transferred the photos before deleting them from your card.

Project Life 2016: Week 23
Summer is in full swing around here with lots of above average days in the upper 80's / low-mid-upper 90's! We are thankful for all of the water fun we've been able to have so far.

Project Life 2016: Week 22
I carved out some time during this day of laundry, cleaning, checking off my to-do list.
I briefly scrolled through my blog and got a little teary in thankfulness for how truly awesome our life is. So many people around the whole don't get to live like we do. And beyond that, they can't/don't document it. So thinking on all of that makes me feel very thankful. ♥

Project Life 2016: Week 21
Wow, I completed two spreads today! One spread is only of a day trip, but it was our mini family "vacation" in case Brandon's work schedule is crazy this summer (which it's supposed to be). So I wanted to include pictures from that day and not have to skimp because of space. Plus I had a lot of just "normal" weekly pictures that I wanted to include. I'm thankful I get to make that call and that I'm not really limited to how many spreads I can complete in a year. I think this is my first double spread of the year. It normally happens during summer, kids birthdays, and Christmas.

Project Life 2016: Week 20
I was happy spending way too much time putting this page together. ;) I haven't been able to sit down, get distracted (it's a good thing), and complete a spread in quite a while. I am hoping to catch up during our little summer break whenever I can get in some time.

Project Life 2016: Week 19
Despite the pretty pink flowers in the photo below, it SNOWED later in the week. Sunday to be exact. We woke up to quite a bit of snow in the air. And it snowed all day, but it didn't stick. Snow in the middle of May! I didn't take a picture, but took note.

Project Life 2016: Week 18
Lately I haven't been finishing a full spread in one sitting. It's been taking a couple of days. One day I get the pictures and maybe some paper in place and the next day I work on it, I finish it. I'm hoping during the summer months of easier days, I will be able to start working on 2011.

Project Life 2016: Week 16
During this week, I went to my sixth Original Women's Conference in Rockford, IL. In years past, I was normally trying to get good pictures but then ended up not liking the quality. So I think beginning last year, I wised up. I enjoyed the conference, took pictures with my people, and then took screen shots from Instagram of key conference moments. I made sure to show that it wasn't me who took the photos and give credit to whom credit is due. ;) Plus it also documents bits of social media that I'm OK with. And there you have it - week 16.

Project Life 2016: Week 15
We are loving the warmer weather of spring where we don't have to bundle up and have on as many layers of clothing. As pictured below, the kids are loving their new outside play dishes and kitchen utensils.

Project Life 2016: Week 14
I played around with some different photo sizes but none of them were "speaking" to me. So I settled with a tried and true, clean line look. I always seem to gravitate back to that which is totally fine by me.
Project Life 2016: Week 13
After I completed this spread and was ready to post it, I realized there were two photos I wanted to include. I forgot about them because of how this spread is divided by two months - March and April. I keep all of my photos grouped by month as well. But as I thought about how I already had my spread complete, I would leave it be. It was ok that another snowy picture wasn't included - even though it could have been the last. Sometimes it's hard for me to let that go because of the need I feel to include a little bit of everything that happened in a week. But, I'm moving on!
Isn't that caterpillar picture so cool?!
