Project Life 2016: Week 49-50

This spread turned into a snazzy two week combo. As much as I feel like a failure for not taking enough pictures in one week for two pages, I have been happy to combine two weeks into one spread because I've been able to knock out my last spreads of the year faster.

BUT I made up for it with two spreads for a two day period when my family was here for Christmas. There were just too many good pictures I wanted to include!

Project Life 2016: Week 48

This week contains two spread because it includes Titus's birthday spread. As I was working on it, I was once again so thankful for Project Life. Before, I would have taken a long time to get to the birthday pictures because I wanted the spreads to be perfect. I still want them to look nice, but I keep in line with PL to get them done. And they get done right along with the weekly spread the birthday falls on. I don't move ahead until both spreads are done.

The birthday spread!  I had fun using camouflage for his spread because that's something he's in to and it sets his pages off from the rest. He liked it too.

Project Life 2016: Week 46

I wasn't sleeping well so I decided to get up earlier and scrapbook! This may be a first for me but I'm just loving it. And I got a whole spread done. Double bonus!

Project Life 2016: Week 45

I got to use stars ( a favorite shape of mine) in this very appropriate spread. Ha! And I noticed that the forty-fifth week was when we elected our forty-fifth POTUS! I'm happy that I snapped a picture of my voters ballot and poll list including that I was voter number 684. And I even included who I voted for. ;) It's all part of documenting.

Project Life 2016: Week 44

Some layouts end up having most of the pictures taken over two days time - this is one of them. 

I've been trying to think of how I will change things up for 2017 so I've been looking around at some ideas. I'm sure I'll use the same templates since they've worked well all these years. :) But I need to pick a font, weekly stamps, and I feel like I really need some new paper supplies. I haven't bought any in quite some time. That's always fun to do.

Project Life 2016: Week 43

I don't always have time to sit down and complete a spread, so I work on what I can and save the rest for the next time. That's what this one came from - as simple as it is. Just a few more weeks to complete of 2016!

Project Life 2016: Week 42

I'm so loving all the fall color in this spread. Fall is a season that goes by way too quickly in my book. It's so beautiful. As I mentioned in this spread, it feels like the world is starting to quiet itself. I love that.

Happy 2017! Man, we're knocking out the 2000's like nobody's business! We look forward to a great year!

I have a few more weeks left to scrap of 2016 and plan for 2017 in the meantime. I had some computer issues that held me back from scrapbooking, but I'm back at it now. :)

Project Life 2016: Week 40

This spread is all photos so that I could keep it in one spread even though our fall party was this week. I love all the green grass and trees and bright blue sky.

There are 12 weeks left to scrap for 2016 with only 7 days left until 2017. I'd love to have 2016 completed by the time 2017 comes, but we will see!

This two-page spread has a few of my favorite things: dark, moody clouds, green, and stars. Some people have favorite shapes, and for me, those are stars.

Due to lack of photos for these two weeks, I was able to combine. I believe I'll have a few spreads like this as I scrapbook the rest of this year.  It all works out and I still have memories documented, so that makes me happy!

This week was mostly spent in Springfield, Missouri where we got to meet Connor, the newest member of the family.

I'm feeling some momentum with the spreads I've been able to complete lately. 

Isn't baby Jameson just the cutest with his folded hands! He kept doing that all on his own like a little old man.

This most celebrates my mom's birthday. It's also bittersweet as Leslie, seated in the white shirt, passed away two months after this photo was taken.

Project Life 2016: Week 32

Life gets busy and scrapbooking doesn't happen as often as I would love for it. But we are on Christmas break over here and I'm hoping to get caught up a little...especially since the new year is only a couple weeks away. Wow!

I've noticed that I haven't been taking as many photos lately. I'm not sure why that's happening but I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things.

I'm not a fan of purple, but when it's in the sky like this, I LOVE it!
