Project Life 2016: Week 40

This spread is all photos so that I could keep it in one spread even though our fall party was this week. I love all the green grass and trees and bright blue sky.

There are 12 weeks left to scrap for 2016 with only 7 days left until 2017. I'd love to have 2016 completed by the time 2017 comes, but we will see!

Project Life 2016: Week 38-39

This two-page spread has a few of my favorite things: dark, moody clouds, green, and stars. Some people have favorite shapes, and for me, those are stars.

Project Life 2016: Week 36-37

Due to lack of photos for these two weeks, I was able to combine. I believe I'll have a few spreads like this as I scrapbook the rest of this year.  It all works out and I still have memories documented, so that makes me happy!

Project Life 2016: Week 35

This week was mostly spent in Springfield, Missouri where we got to meet Connor, the newest member of the family.

Project Life 2016: Week 34

I'm feeling some momentum with the spreads I've been able to complete lately.

Isn't baby Jameson just the cutest with his folded hands! He kept doing that all on his own like a little old man.

Project Life 2016: Week 33

This most celebrates my mom's birthday. It's also bittersweet as Leslie, seated in the white shirt, passed away two months after this photo was taken.

Project Life 2016: Week 32

Life gets busy and scrapbooking doesn't happen as often as I would love for it. But we are on Christmas break over here and I'm hoping to get caught up a little...especially since the new year is only a couple weeks away. Wow!

I've noticed that I haven't been taking as many photos lately. I'm not sure why that's happening but I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things.

I'm not a fan of purple, but when it's in the sky like this, I LOVE it!

Project Life 2016: Week 31

Green, green summer. As I post this, it's now mid November and most of the leaves have fallen. Each season as it's own beauty.

This week included back to school, canning, lots of swimming, and time with family. Sounds good to me!

Project Life 2016: Week 30

This was a full, but fun, week! Brandon and I are now teenagers in marriage! ;)

Project Life 2016: Week 29

It's the last week in the 20's for Project Life this year. The year is really zipping by. I'm currently seven - almost eight - weeks behind with this year's spreads, but I'm ok with. I'm hoping to get caught up and then work on 2011.

Project Life 2016: Week 28 "Family Reunion"

We have been going to the Smith Family Reunion almost every year since Leah was a baby. We missed last year due to Brandon's work schedule. So we wanted to make a point to get up there this year - especially since Christina and her family would be there along with the aunts and others. We had a great time. As I mentioned in the spread, I'm thankful for the rich family history that has been preserved all these years.

Project Life 2016: Week 28

This is the week of Max, our new kitty. The kids just love him. He seems to be a sweet cat.

Project Life 2016: Week 27

Cool, fall days (all the heart eyes ♥♥) are right around the corner, but for now, there are still summer spreads to get caught up on and a few more summer weeks to document.

Project Life 2016: Week 26

Week 26 marks the half way point of the year. I feel like summer has gone by fast. While I enjoy doing more things outside during summer, I am looking forward to the cooler days of fall. It's been one scorcher of a summer.

Project Life 2016: Week 25

I'm loving these summery layouts! And it's fun being able to complete two spreads today.

I believe I'll always love this project. This week, Titus was asking which scrapbook had the picture of the big bass that he caught. So that's cool that he enjoys referencing that and looking back. It's great!

Project Life 2016: Week 24

This week includes two spreads as we celebrated Leah's 9th birthday! This week also included my dad's birthday which also fell on Father's Day.

One thing I'm pretty bummed about: I accidentally deleted photos from my camera card before putting them on the computer. I can still see the picture in my head but I can't make it come to life. I took some pictures with my big camera the night of Leah's birthday. Most importantly, a family picture with both sets of grandparents. Somehow I thought I already put them on the computer and then proceeded to clear off my card. So use this example for yourself to always check and make sure you've transferred the photos before deleting them from your card.

The birthday spread!
